Summary：
On the basis of field investigation, this study compares the public rental housing system of Chongqing and Xiamen from eight aspects, namely, guarantee object, rent standard, construction mode, land supply, fund raising, construction standard, operation management and exit mechanism, and sums up and summarizes their respective characteristics, focusing on the analysis of the two cities'public rental housing system. The common problems and individuation problems faced by the rental housing system in the implementation process, and finally put forward countermeasures and suggestions to further improve the housing security policy.
