TRAINING THE TRAINERS

Low-carbon transportation is a long-term initiative consistent with both the UN Global Development Initiative and China’s Dual Carbon Goals, covering core analytical tools including low-carbon planning, fiscal sustainability and future mobility. To meet the learning demands of young scholars from universities and research institutions as well as industry practitioners, the Peking University–Lincoln Institute Center for Urban Development and Land Policy and the School of Traffic and Transportation, Lanzhou Jiaotong University will jointly host the summer workshop Low-Carbon Transportation and Future Cities on the campus of Lanzhou Jiaotong University in Lanzhou from July 21 to 25, 2025 (check-in date: July 20). The workshop will feature expert lectures to provide in-depth insights into cutting-edge research and latest global practices in low-carbon transportation and future cities, field visits to local low-carbon urban planning projects in Lanzhou, and interactive roundtable dialogues with specialists. All interested colleagues are welcome to submit applications via the questionnaire (or click "Read More").
