On April 16, 2024, the review process for the 2024 PKU-Lincoln Center Peking University Undergraduate Research Grant was successfully completed. Seven undergraduate students from the School of Government and the School of Urban and Environmental Sciences passed the expert review panel and were awarded this year’s research grant.
The PKU-Lincoln Center Peking University Undergraduate Research Grant was established to encourage and support undergraduate students of Peking University to conduct research in fields related to urban development and land policy. Each year, the grant program plans to fund 5 to 10 final-year undergraduate students. Supported research areas primarily include urban and regional development, spatial planning, land policy, housing policy, local public finance, environmental policy, land use and carbon emission reduction, with a funding amount of RMB 5,000 per recipient. The grant aims to help more students achieve breakthroughs in their research fields and contribute to the research and practical advancement of urban development and land policy.
