On July 1, 2025, the Peking University-Lincoln Center "2025-2026 Research Fund Review Meeting" and the "2025-2026 Thesis Scholarship Review Meeting" will be held onlineHeld the event. The research fund review committee consists of Professor Liu Zhilin from the School of Public Administration at Tsinghua University, Professor Yang Jiawen from Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School, and Researcher Zhu Shengjun from the School of Urban and Environmental Sciences at Peking University. The Thesis Scholarship Review Committee consists of Professor He Canfei, Dean of the School of Urban and Environmental Sciences at Peking University; Associate Professor Sun Tieshan from the School of Government Management at Peking University; and Associate Professor Zhao Daxuan, Associate Dean of the Business School at Renmin University of China. Research Fund
The Peking University-Lincoln Center continues to carry out research fund projects, supporting research in areas such as urban land use and policy, public finance and property tax, housing markets and policies, urban transportation, urban environment and spatial planning systems, urban infrastructure investment and financing, and nature conservation. The Peking University-Lincoln Center has consistently emphasized empirical research based on detailed data and data, with particular attention this year on topics such as urban land use and carbon reduction, urban system development and spatial planning, urban fiscal sustainability, urban renewal, housing for low-income urban families, ecological protection, and natural resource management. Researchers and scholars engaged in research in the above fields in China are eligible to apply, generally requiring applicants to have held their doctoral degree for no more than 5 years at the time of application. The funding period is one year, with a funding amount of 80,000 RMB.
Thesis scholarship
The Peking University-Lincoln Center continues to offer the thesis scholarship program. Applicants must be domestic second-year master's or doctoral students in the second year, with a thesis topic that has been officially proposed at the time of application (must be signed by the supervisor), and must be a full-time student during the project period. The applicant's research interests include urban economics, land policy, territorial spatial planning, public finance, housing policy, environmental policy, and healthy cities. The funding period is one year, with a funding amount of 40,000 RMB for doctoral students and 30,000 RMB for master's students.
