On the morning of May 15, 2021, the Seminar on Innovation and Development in Environmental Economic Geography and the New Book Publication Symposium for Advanced Economic Geography were grandly held on the second floor of Peking University (with live streaming online). More than 20 well-known domestic geographic experts, scholars, and leaders from The Commercial Press attended the meeting. The conference included three sessions: the launch seminar of the new book "Advanced Economic Geography," the seminar on innovation and development of environmental economic geography, and the special issue "Innovation and Development of Environmental Economic Geography" in Geographical Research.

The first session was the launch and seminar of the new book "Advanced Economic Geography," chaired by Professor Feng Changchun from the School of Urban and Environmental Sciences at Peking University, with General Manager Li Ping of The Commercial Press and Professor He Canfei jointly unveiling the new book.
